The Art of Cooking


  • TBRC is compiling a COOKBOOK that is half California history and half recipes. 

    Short essays on California history and authors will be on the left and on the facing page will be an appropriate recipe. 
    For many of the history entries, we are collecting family stories from caucus and county central committee members about ancestors who immigrated to California from a foreign country or another state. 
    These family tales will include Native-Americans who were already here, Spanish land-grant, Gold Rush, railroad, agricultural families and those who came to work in defense industries in WW II and Silicon Valley.  We would like your family stories and favorite recipes.
