  • An Investment in California’s Democratic Future

    The Take Back Red California (TBRC) partnership moves resources (volunteers, money, and campaign experience) from safe Democratic “blue” jurisdictions to Republican-dominated “red” counties. Our purpose is to prevent California from becoming a swing.

    House parties are a great way to get the word out about the candidates and raise money for the campaigns. Because TBRC is so committed to long-term infrastructure development and building farm clubs, TBRC house parties offer a great way for everyone to invest in the future of a Democratic California. TBRC is all-volunteer, so all of the funds we raise go directly into building a stronger Democratic base in areas that have been historically abandoned to conservatives.

    Success in  “non-partisan” races for school boards, water boards, city councils and county boards of supervisors are critical to Democrats in red counties. Not only do these bodies set local policies, but they train and develop quality people to move on to state and national offices.  For 30 years the Republicans have been engaged in candidate development through down-ticket campaigns.  And now Democrats in the Bay Area can encourage good people in red California with volunteer and monetary support by having a house party.
